This page is designed to assist you with uploading your video content to the variety of social media platforms that are available. Following these steps will optimize the potential of your video. 

FACEbook

Videos can be uploaded through the Facebook App, the Facebook Page App, or on a Computer.
We recommend you use a computer to upload because it gives you more options for publishing.

NOTE: It is very common to post your video to YouTube and then share the YouTube link on Facebook. However, our research has found that when you upload the video directly to Facebook, Facebook will show it to more people than if you share a YouTube link. 
First, click the Photo/Video button on your page. This will open a finder window. Search for your video in your files and select OPEN. Do not start a description and then attach the video, this will change the way the video is uploaded.

Here, add a title, short description with hashtags (#), and tags for your video to increase the audience with whom Facebook shares the video.

Select the Thumbnail option on the right side. This will enable you to select the thumbnail fo the video which will entice people to watch. We provide a custom thumbnail with all our videos. Or, you can select a frame from the video yourself. If you want to include subtitles with your video, select the option on the right side menu and follow the instructions. When you are done, select next at the bottom.

Here you can select all your publishing settings including if you want to delay the publishing and some other specific options. Be sure to look through them all and select all that apply.

Videos can only be uploaded through the Instagram Mobile App.
Select the plus symbol to upload the video. You will need to have added the video to you camera roll in your phone.

Unless you request that your video be exported in an "Instagram Ratio", you will need to resize your video so that the sides don't get cut off.  Tap the grey full-screen icon to resize.

You will be asked what kind video your are uploading. This will be previously discussed with us so we know what kind of video you are using.

In the next page there are three options. We ask that you do not add a filter to video because this will change the look of the video we have designed for you. You should not have to trim the video - if your video is longer than one-minute and you want to post it to instagram, we will cut it into parts for you. Please be sure to chose a cover for you video! Tap the cover bottom at the bottom and you will be able to scroll through and pick any frame of the video for the cover. If you do not choose a cover, then it is likely that your video thumbnail will be black and not get as much attention.

Lastly, be sure to write a description which includes hashtags (#) that relate to your video. Tagging other people in your networks will help draw attention, as well as adding a location for the video. If you want to post the same video and description, and you have your accounts connected, you can simultaneously post them as well by selecting them from the options below. We do not recommend doing this for every type of post.

You can upload to YouTube using the YouTube Mobile App or on a Computer. We recommend using a computer because it gives you more upload options. 
Click the camera icon with a plus symbol in the top-right corner, then select upload video from the menu. A new window will open where you can select your video to upload from your files

In this window, you can add a title and write a description. A description should include information about the video and include any affiliate links like the URL to your other social media platforms and any collaborative platforms. You can also add up to 3 hastags (#) to help people find your video and get it trending. 
​Next, you can upload the custom thumbnail we prepared for you, or select one of the generated thumbnails. All of these elements help with optimization and metrics that increase views.

If you have playlists created for different types of videos on your channel, you can add it here. If your video is not specifically designed for children, select "no, it's not made for kids." This is a required option you must select. Select more options and add tags. Tags will increase the likelihood that your video will appear in a search. Generally speaking 5-8 is the sweet spot. All of these elements help with optimization and metrics that increase views. ​

In this window, you can add cards or end screens to your video. These are overlays that can appear at the end of your video to promote other videos on your channel, encourage videos to subscribe, etc.

In this final window, you can make your video immediately available by selecting public, or schedule it for later. If you make your video unlisted or private; this can be change it later.
