Hello
Welcome! My name is Malcolm Cottle and I am a videographer and musical artist. I create content for artists, businesses, and non-profit organizations.
It is my pleasure to submit this proposal for the video project that the Marshall M. Frederick Sculpture Museum wishes to produce with partnering artists. |
An overview of my work
A good Fit for this project
As an artist myself, I very much enjoy working with fellow artists. I have a lot of experience telling artists' stories in short-form content for online consumption. Additionally, I am a highly experienced interviewer. I've worked with many people who are new to being interviewed - making them feel comfortable to share their experiences.
Quick Stories
Last August, I started an online series called 810/60 - 60 second interviews with creatives in the 810 area code (Flint and Genesee County). This series grew our Facebook page by 48% in 6 months and our videos have between 850 and 5000 views per video on Facebook. We were releasing a video every Monday.

What I can offer
I have the technical experience to produce beautiful and modern looking videos for the museum. I also have extensive interview experience to help the artists in this project tell their stories. I can create content that will expand the museum's engagement and raise the profile of the partnering artists which, in turn, will raise the profile of the museum.
The majority of the content I create is intended for online use. I create videos that are optimized for use on Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram. Additionally, I pay particular attention to branding. I ensure logos and correct color pallets are used to help reinforce the museum's brand in their videos.
With me, you will get a creative and hands-on professional that will ensure you get the exact product you are envisioning. I would be happy to provide some former clients as references.
